How to Bloom Your Whisk
How to Bloom Your Whisk
Before your first use — and ideally before every matcha session — it’s good to “bloom” your whisk to soften the bamboo prongs and prevent breakage.
- Fill a bowl with warm water. Not boiling just comfortably warm.
- Place your whisk in the water for about 1–2 minutes. The prongs will gently unfurl and soften.
- Remove and shake off excess water.
Your whisk is now bloomed, supple, and ready to create that perfect froth.
Why bloom?
It prolongs the life of your whisk, prevents breakage, and makes whisking smoother and creamier.
Care & Storage
Care & Storage
To keep your whisk in perfect shape:
After Each Use:
- Rinse gently with warm water.
- Avoid soaps or detergents — they can damage the natural bamboo.
- Pat lightly to remove excess water.
To Store:
- Let it air-dry naturally, with the prongs facing downwards if possible.
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated spot away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Really good matcha, vibrant green, tastes good. You will find no better at this price.
The matcha has a rich, smooth taste with a slight sweetness. No bitterness, just pure green tea goodness. Great for lattes!
